A Couple of 8×10 Prints

This is just a quick sampler. While the majority of vintage photographic prints that I own are 4×5 inch in size, I have a few 8×10 prints. Here are two. The more recent is a female model with cat in front of a fireplace with a Frederick’s of Hollywood catalog. I believe the photograph was taken in the late 1950s, possibly early 1960s. On the back of the print the model is named, Ann King. This is possibly the actress who appeared in movies and TV shows from the late 1950s into the late 1960s.

The second photograph is older, a model in an usherette or chorus girl costume from the 1930s. The costume brings to mind some of Charles Guyette’s early photographs where the model sometimes wears a costume (for example, the ponygirl series of photos). The side of this print was punched to go into binder.
